Few days back a young and inspiring actor hanged himself at his house in Mumbai. It came as shock for everybody. Nobody could believe the news when it broke out that SSR had committed suicide. I wondered why a man who had everything that a common man in India can only dream of took such a step. A man through his film teaches us to fight depression himself succumbed to it.
But what has since followed is no less shameful. Few people trying to take mileage one’s misery and peole’s anger. Our esteemed news channels infamous high pitch debate have found and opportunity to shore up their TRP.
With election approaching in Bihar, the incumbent govt. has not fallen behind in exploiting the emotion and anger of Biharis. There is prevailing sense of anger in people around the country in general and biharis in particular about the death of Rajput. With COVID ravaging the bihar and flood as usual haunting the northern district the bihar government has found a issue that can divert the people attention away from their failings and sore up the Bihar ashmita.
Then there are the people frustrated by the COVID and angry at elite of the bollywood who do not give opportunity to outsider and exploit the muddle class outsider. It seems that common man from all sheds of leaning and idealogies are hail bent on bringing the elites of bollywood down.
But at receiving end is family which has been named and shamed as gold digger. Nobody is even ready to listen their argument. They have been hounded by the agencies which are otherwise reserved for the opposition parties or the big launderers.
I only hope that good sense prevail among the general public and they reason reason in not bullying a family. We have already lost SSR, let’s not force Rhea family into depression and let law take its own course and not pronounce judgement
